Skater XL Gets Free Multiplayer Mode On PC

Developer Easy Day Studios has rolled out a multiplayer mode for its skateboarding simulator Skater XL. The mode, which is in beta, is only available on Steam, though Easy Day confirmed the feature will come to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One soon.

The free multiplayer mode lets up to 10 players hop into a server to skate together. Players can create group lines to save and watch later as replays, with the same editing functionality as the base game. In order to check multiplayer, players must opt in by right-clicking on Skater XL and open “Properties.” From there, select “beta – Open Beta,” which will start downloading the multiplayer mode. It can be turned of at any time. Come from Sports betting site VPbet

Easy Day said it is “stress test[ing]” the beta on PC first to gather data on how the servers perform before “rolling the basic Free Skate mode out cross-platform.”

In an announcement video, the mode is said to be “coming to Xbox and PlayStation in the near future.” Check out Skater XL’s multiplayer gameplay below.

Connecticut to open to commercial betting after Gov. Lamont, Mohegans reach gambling expansion deal

After thinking they were “at the finish line” in April 2019, Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont and the Mohegan Tribe, have reportedly finally agreed to terms for a comprehensive gambling expansion plan that could see legalized sports betting and internet gambling in the southern New England state.

In a joint statement on Tuesday, Mohegan Tribal Chair James Gessner Jr., who leads one of two federally recognized Native American tribes in Connecticut, and the Democratic governor made the announcement within hours of an earlier message delivered to state legislators via the General Assembly’s Public Safety Committee by Lamont’s chief of staff, Paul Mounds detailing that the administration was “at the precipice” of a deal finally being reached, as reported by the Associated Press.

Missing input:

According to the news agency, Mounds had said the goal of the administration was that the Mashantucket Pequot Tribe be included in the final agreement, however, the owners and operators of Foxwoods Casino in southeastern Connecticut were absent from the joint statement, a fact which tribal chair Rodney Butler said was “extremely disrespectful in terms of proc…

Betsson launches flagship brand in Mexico’s regulated iGaming market furthering LatAm reach

After launching its operation in Mexico earlier this month on a trial basis, Stockholm-listed betting and gaming operator Betsson has now officially taken its flagship brand live in the country’s regulated iGaming market.

The move that further expands its presence in the wider Latin American region, follows approval by regulator Dirección General de Juegos y Sorteos de la Secretaría de Gobernación, enabling the Swedish company to make its Betsson.mx online interest available to players in Mexico’s locally regulated market.

Going forward, users will have access to online casino and live casino, as well as localized sports betting comprising a broad range of sports and events with North American betting style, such as teaser bets, parley and money line, each of which has proven popular in the Mexico.

Strategic Launch:

“We are overjoyed to have launched in Mexico, the second biggest gaming market in Latin America,” said Andrea Rossi, commercial director for Latin America at Betsson Group. “We will be using our experience in the online gaming industry and with this we are certain that we will attain our vision of offering engaging product…

Maverick Gaming And Bally’s Partnership To Open Maverick Gaming Poker Room

On May 23rd, Washington-based Maverick Gaming, a poker pioneer owned by Eric Persson, revealed an alliance with Rhode Island-based Bally’s Corporation to officially open the Maverick Gaming Poker Room, which will be located at the 66-year-old Strip resort.

However, the terms of the agreement were not revealed.

Grand opening in June:

Maverick is the current owner of 4 commercial casinos in Nevada, 3 in Colorado and 23 card rooms in Washington, which it achieved through working with tribal businesses, which shows that it is truly one of the pioneers of the industry. Commenting on the planned opening, Jeremy Weinstein, chief marketing officer for Maverick, said: “The company intends to capture players with twice-daily tournaments and the lowest rake – the commission paid to the casino on games – on the Strip.”

In addition, the poker room is slated to have a grand opening in June, with details on the opening date and time to be revealed soon. But that’s not all; as the room will be located adjacent to Bally’s Big Bet Poker livestream broadcast studio at the Tropicana.

The network’s showrunners and executive …

Amouranth gives Twitch the boot as Kick steals second streaming star in under 2 days-

Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa, one of Twitch’s highest-profile streamers, has begun streaming on Twitch rival Kick. Siragusa announced the shift on her Twitter account last Sunday, barely two days after fellow streamer xQc announced he would begin streaming on Kick after inking a $100 million, non-exclusive deal with the platform.

In the announcement video she posted to Twitter, Siragusa is seen reading a New York Times report on xQc’s absolutely unbelievable deal before getting on the phone to her agent and obtaining one for herself, but I suspect this has been in the works for just a tad longer than the day and a bit between that article going up and Siragusa announcing her own move. Over on her personal Twitter, Siragusa laid out what she perceives as Twitch’s main “sin,” undermining its own business and riling streamers like her and xQc.

“Twitch’s ‘sin’ isn’t trying to squeeze creators. Their sin is making a business model that doesn’t succeed except maybe at YouTube scale,” wrote Siragusa, “but live streaming is a much smaller [Total Addressable Market] than pre-recorded video.” She continued to say that, instead of figuring out ways to tie Twitch into Amaz…

The bloated tyranny of two-factor authentication is ruining my online existence. There has to be a better way

This month I have been mostly… willing myself to play Rogue Trader. I mean, I like Warhammer 40K, and I love CRPGs. So, what’s stopping me? The early launch day bugs and the cautioning words of my brother, into whom it has its claws already. But it’s better now, and I really ought to dive in before I get lost in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.

It’s better to be safe than sorry. That’s the received wisdom around internet security. And fair enough; a ton of our life is online, as well as some of our most prized possessions. Y’know, like our Steam and bank accounts. But, for the love of Gabe, there has to be something better than the ever-more-bloated tyranny of two-factor authentication to keep them and us safe.

Before I rant, however, I do want to make it crystal that I get it. I know why we have 2FA. I understand that in an age where there are growing numbers of cybersecurity incidents, whether perpetrated on individuals or companies, it is vital to find a way to ensure logi…
